Anima

This is an experimental film I made based on MaxMsp. The film is called anima, it means soul and breath in Latin, which is about animism.In my understanding ‘animism’ tells that every elements in nature including plants have soul and spirit.The famous Greek philosopher Plato called the universal spiritual force the Anima Mundi in his philosophical treatise Timaeus on the origins and workings of the Universe: ‘This world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence, a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related.'
